Hands-On 3D Design, Engineering & Creative Technology
FullBlast STEAM brings engaging 3D Pen Arts & Technology workshops to schools, libraries, after-school programs, and homeschool organizations across the region.
Our programs combine art, engineering, and design thinking to help students develop creativity, problem-solving skills, and confidence with emerging technologies.

Programs are flexible and can be delivered as in-school curriculum integration, multi-week enrichment programs, or one-day design challenges and events.

Aligning Creativity with Academic Standards
In-School Curriculum Integration
Our in-school workshops integrate seamlessly with classroom learning goals. Using 3D pens as handheld additive manufacturing tools, students explore design, engineering, and artistic expression while reinforcing key academic concepts.
Program themes may include: • Geometry & Math Connections Students design shapes, structures, and geometric forms using 3D pens, reinforcing spatial reasoning and measurement concepts. • Engineering Design Process (EDP) Students plan, prototype, test, and refine structures while solving creative design challenges. • Art & Mixed Media Exploration Students combine filament colors, drawing techniques, and sculptural methods to create masks, characters, wearable art, and abstract designs. • Additive Manufacturing & 3D Printing Foundations Students learn how 3D pens function as handheld 3D printers, introducing the principles of additive manufacturing. • CAD Design Integration Using Tinkercad, students learn the basics of digital design before transitioning to 3D printing projects using school printers. • Cross-Disciplinary Projects Lessons can align with art, engineering, technology, and STEM learning units.
Multi-Week Creative Technology Experiences
After-School & Club Enrichment Programs
Our after-school programs run 3–8 weeks, with flexible schedules ranging from 1–5 days per week. Students build skills over time while exploring increasingly complex projects.
Program themes may include: • Wearable Art & Creative Design Students create necklaces, rings, keychains, and sculptural accessories using custom templates and freeform design. • Engineering Challenges Students design bridges, towers, and structural systems using filament and creative problem-solving. • The Engineering Design Process (EDP) Students practice ideation, prototyping, testing, and iteration. • Circuits & Robotics Introduction – PartyBots Program Students build creative robotic structures using circuits, motors, and design challenges. • PartyBots Robotics Competition Students collaborate and compete using their custom robotic creations in structured challenges. • Creative Portfolio Building Students build a collection of projects demonstrating their design and engineering growth.

STEM Nights, Assemblies, and Hands-On Experiences
One-Day Design Challenges & School Events
Our one-day events are high-energy creative experiences designed to engage large groups of students and families. These programs work well for STEM nights, assemblies, festivals, and special events.
Event options include: • Group Engineering Challenges Students work in teams to design and build structures such as: – The tallest freestanding tower – Bridges capable of holding 2–5 lbs (age dependent) – Structural sculptures and architectural designs • Rings & Things Creative Studio Students create wearable art including necklaces, rings, keychains, masks, and character sculptures. • Design Challenge Competitions Participants respond to creative prompts and build solutions within a time limit. • Interactive STEM Stations Multiple hands-on activity stations allow students and families to explore creative technology together. • Creative Expression & Relaxation Activities 3D pen art experiences encourage participants to relax, focus, and explore their creativity.
