Service Description
Teams engineer a bridge that spans a two-foot gap, then load it with increasing weight until it fails. One bridge, one champion. Held at The 3DPenParty SPACE, our waterfront Baltimore studio at 321 East Cromwell Street. HOW IT RUNS (2 hours) Safety and pen handling, a baseline build, design and construction against the two-foot span, then the load test — 2 lb, 5 lb, 10 lb, 20 lb — and an after-action review of where each design gave way. WHAT IT TEACHES Tension and compression, span and support, structural design, weight distribution, and why failure is the most useful data an engineer gets. PRICING $35 per participant, $350 minimum. Choose your number of participants at checkout. A $150 deposit reserves your date; the balance is due before your event. GROUP SIZE The SPACE seats up to 18 makers. Booking for a larger group?
