PartyBots™ Challenge — At Your Venue

Service Description

The third of our three Engineering Design Challenges, and a standout experience in its own right. Every participant designs and builds their own bot with a 3D pen, a motor, a switch, a battery and a flexible silicone spinner. Then the bots go head to head. FOUR COMPETITION FORMATS Speed Run. Knock the Flag. Last Bot Standing. Battle Royale. HOW IT RUNS (2 hours) Safety, motor and battery handling, the build, a test-and-tune round where designs get fixed, then the competition, then an after-action review on why the winning bots moved the way they did. Design. Build. Test. Improve. Compete. WHAT IT TEACHES Simple circuits, motors and power, centre of mass, vibration and motion, weight distribution, tuning a design against a measurable goal, and losing a round then fixing the thing that lost it. PRICING $45 per participant, $350 minimum. The higher rate covers the motor and battery each participant keeps in their bot. Choose your number of participants at checkout. A $150 deposit reserves your date; the balance is due before your event. EVERYONE TAKES THEIR BOT HOME. TRAVEL Travel up to 45 miles from our studio is included. Beyond 45 miles, we add $50 per additional 15 miles (or fraction) to cover mileage. WHAT YOUR VENUE NEEDS Tables and chairs for your group, standard power within reach of the tables, and a clear floor area for the competition — a gym floor, a cleared classroom, or a conference room with the tables pushed back. GREAT FOR Field trips, teacher training, STEM family nights, birthday parties, camps, robotics and STEM teams, corporate team building, and adult groups who want something competitive.
