Service Description
Teams design and build a vibrating robot from a 3D pen chassis, a DC motor, a silicone spinner and a AA battery — then compete with it. Every design is different, and every design moves differently. Held at The 3DPenParty SPACE, our waterfront Baltimore studio at 321 East Cromwell Street. HOW IT RUNS (2 hours) Safety and pen handling, chassis build, motor and battery assembly, tuning, then the competition — speed run, knock the flag, last bot standing, battle royale. WHAT IT TEACHES Simple circuits, motor and power basics, centre of mass, iterative tuning, and real engineering under competition pressure. PRICING $45 per participant, $350 minimum. Choose your number of participants at checkout. A $150 deposit reserves your date; the balance is due before your event. GROUP SIZE The SPACE seats up to 18 makers. Booking for a larger group? Choose the "at your venue" version of this challenge instead — we run those for up to 55, and we will help you find a space if you do not have one. Call 443-399-3896.

Engineering Design Challenges are priced per participant with a $350 minimum per session. Choose your number of participants at checkout. A $150 deposit reserves your date; the balance is due before your event. Non-refundable, but your date may be rescheduled up to 7 days in advance.
